NFDC Planning Requirements
Local Information requirements asked for comments. Hyde Parish Council were concerned at the lack of information on development plans, making it difficult to estimate the size of proposals for neighbours and Councillors – please see our attached response.
Unfortunately, NFDC ‘lost’ the response and it was not considered. Lack of information is still a problem.

Electoral Review of NFDC Warding patterns
Electoral review of NFDC Warding Patterns (due 2 March 2020) – reviewing a potential reduction of District Councillors from four to three in the local area and where Hyde would be best represented/positioned.
Hyde Parish Councillors hoped to form a North West Forest Ward with Ellingham, Harbridge and Ibsley, Hyde Parish, Godshill, Woodgreen and Hale. The Boundary Commissions decision (and the proposal by NFDC) means that Hyde Parish and Godshill are joined with Fordingbridge. Ellingham, Harbridge and Ibsley with Ringwood North, and Woodgreen and Hale with Downland.
