Scenes at the Produce Show

The Link Villages Produce Show takes place on the first Saturday in September each year in the Hyde Memorial Hall. There are classes for fruit, vegetables, flowers, pot plants, home produce, preserves, craft, flower arrangements and photography. There are additional classes for children under 9 and under 12 as well as adult novice classes.

Entries are not restricted to the Link Villages and exhibitors are welcome from anywhere in the surrounding area – young or old, experienced or first timers. There are cash prizes for all classes and 15 cups are awarded.

In the afternoon the Hall is open to visitors to view the exhibits, enjoy tea and home made cakes, take part in the raffle and the auction of produce at the end of the show after the prize giving.
